Description: We use input-output matrices to investigate the association between the structural properties of economic systems and some macroeconomic variables. As part of the structural properties we include some centrality measures and study how the effects of sectoral shocks distribute unevenly across the economy by calculating a diffusion measure. We perform the analysis for North America, Mexico, and South America.
